HISTORY OF THE CHRISTMAS BELLS.
In ancient bells were announcing 00:00 am twelve chimes to announce Christmas.
The traditional Christmas bells formerly served the same function as candles, ward off evil spirits.
At the sound of the bells of the cathedrals and churches, for Christians indicate the time of worship and prayer, with a call to meditation and reflection.
They are also a symbol of the joy of Christmas so that should always be present in the trees and in every home.
Use of the bells appear in the Western Church in the seventh century and the East, it seems that was not used before the ninth century, appearing first bells in Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. WHAT DO WE NEED? MATERIALS.
• Two disposable bottles.
• Scissors.
• Metallic paint. (Gold, silver or copper) .As is recycled and I do not have paint on these tones will use golden frost.
• Red Ribbon.
• Ribbon Organza / transparent.
• Brush.
• Styrofoam balls.
• Accessories (Optional).
• Hilo.
INSTRUCTIONS: STEP BY STEP.
1. Cut the top of the bottle. Carefully! To only use the hood top of it and this may be the size you want.
2. Now start painting the parts to create the bell, you should apply two coats of paint on the bottles and styrofoam balls. Be patient!
3. When the paint has dried glue each Styrofoam ball on the inside of the bottle, but letting this can be seen with the naked eye.
4. When you glue Styrofoam ball to the bottles must leave half of it without relying on the plastic, so you may look at the bell.
5. Once ready the next step is the Christmas decorating it, for this you should use a piece of organza ribbon and paste so as to surround the figure.
6. After hits a red to one of the bells and glue on top of her bun.
