We know that some of the students even have alcoholism problems, the Alcoholism is a disease, (chronic) that consists on having problems controlling your alcohol consume (excessive drinking) needing greater amounts of it to get the same effect. With the results of the research we already know that peer pressure is the mainly reason, teenagers of our school are carried to alcohol. So we focused the investigation on the environment they live. We are not completely sure of the exactly main reason, the students of our high school drink, and how much do they actually drink.
The main objective of this investigation is to search more detailed information about this problem at “Prepa Tec” and all the consequences it carries with it, to our classmates. The research proves alcohol is the preferred drug by teens and also that it’s the biggest cause of accidents in adolescents. The number of teens involved in alcohol problems increases in each grade of high school. So with all these problems that alcohol consumption carries with it, we would like to find out the reasons they start drinking and why, specifically in our high school. The question was: Why does students at “Prepa Tec” drink? Our hypothesis was, that the main cause of students at “Prepa Tec” drinking problems comes from the peer pressure and the completely environment (family, friends, school) students. live everyday.
METODOLOGY
In order to collect information we need to have to make our final conclusions about our research and hypothesis, we decided to make 20 anonymous interviews in a website called “Survey Monkey” answered by students of “Prepa Tec”. The interview included very personal questions in order to achieve the students we interviewed give us the causes where their drinking problems had place in, the fact that the interview was completely anonymous give us more chance to get in the real bottom of this problem. We try to make the questions as specific as possible to collect more detailed information ex:
1) How would you consider your relationship with your parents ( you do what they tell you to do, you don’t disrespect them, you obey them, can you trust them? “do you tell them your problems, concerns etc. “ ):
