4. PERSUASIVE TEXT.
Persuasive communication is characterized by intentionality of transmitting meaningful information, which is directed to a receiver not only individual but many individuals who may be public or hearings involving masses and control, coerce or pressure.
Persuasive communication and attitude change
The problem of persuasion is that it is a matter of changing attitudes. This change in attitudes is directly related with the formation of climates of opinion in public opinion on important aspects such as behavior economic, cultural and political. The problem of attitude change is related to the intention of the source, the effects of persuasive processes and includes several factors that affect attitude change.
5. DESCRIPTIVE TEXT.
Describe is to represent reality through words. Often defined as verbal painting. If the story in the narrative unfolds as a temporal process, the contents of the description stops over time to observe details of an object, a person or an environment as if it were a painting.
The description is a way of organizing the content of a text that consists of three activities: APPOINT reality (define reality) place it in space and time and grade (Branding is a way of taking sides, so all rating implies subjectivity).
The author's intent and purpose that the author wants to achieve with the text indicate the differences between the two types of description.
