Debora Arango

She was an excelent painter, because she could paint different  things, since  nature until differents  critiques about society and the most important was that through of her painting,  she  showed,  her thoughts   about the different situation that Colombian people had or have to support . She used to use her pictures to express  this things to the politics person, by this reason, she painted alcoholicos, prostitutas, poor people despite of her talent she was criticized, because she was the first Colombian woman who painted a naked and in those times, paint that kind of things was not accepted by society, reason to make that some people refused to enjoy  her  art.

In times that people just based their behaviors in the moral or beginnings, was not easy accepted that someone take the decision  paint a human  without clothing,because people did not imagine that  paint the reality was art. They just wanted to watch the things that they thought was right  and in the thoughts of Devora just passed,  show the  reality and the human body naked was real and she wanted to share with people the beauty of the real body, regardless the bad things that people said about  her.

In difficult moments when people did not accept her paintings she made the decision to take distance of people, but she continued with her job, this time allow her paint more painting and when she wanted to expose, people could watch her  expression in an amount greater, she never desisted her perseverance made her a best of painter from Colombia.

Concluding,  she was expressive also in assigning  her  names for  paints because when someone read the names ,  could think  is something different and could not imagine is a naked , for example in  dawn 1939 y mountains 1940 we could think are natural landscapes but when you watch  the painting  is different,  in the first are three persons after  drinking maybe was at night and is morning and in the second is a woman naked, I can understand are  the woman curves  and the principals  mountains are the  breast and tail

In my opinion Debora Arango was a painter to admire because she allowed that people watched the reality through of her art, regardless society reactions, she shows us that world is not perfect and however this society do not do anything to improve, people  just criticize, for this reason we should learn to appreciate the job of the others, search for  meaning truth, and chance the bad things.
