GOALS:

Be able to share written and oral about personal information(nationalities)
Be able to accept different opinions about nationalities
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson students will:
Identify and write specific details in a short monologue related to some nationalities with a 90% accuracy
Describe orally and in a writing the nationalities of some countries using a set of pictures provided by the teachers with a 90% accuracy in grammar and vocabulary

CLASS PROFILE:
5th grade is a group of 16 students whose ages range between 9 to 11, with A1 level. They have been in contact with the language since they were in 1st grade. They prefer dynamic activities that require movements such as games; they enjoy working in groups and participate actively in class.
HOW THIS LESSON WILL MEET THEIR NEEDS? WHAT DO THE STUDENTS KNOW IN ORDER TO COPE WITH YOUR LESSON? HOW IS THIS LESSON CONNECTED TO THE PREVIOUS ONE AND TO THE NEXT?
The previous knowledge of students is about vocabulary of family, and sports, this would have relationship with the new topic (nationalities) as students will describe where they come from when they are asked to do it, and these vocabularies will be complemented with the grammar structure of the verb to be. And also will help with the next topic called “occupation”.
PERSONAL AIMS: WHAT ASPECTS OF YOUR OWN TEACHING WILL YOU DEVELOP IN THIS LESSON?
We will motivate students to overcome social and self-barriers so that they can go beyond their expectations and become self-reliant citizens.
