- INTRODUCTION
To begin this report is to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the English classes for engineering asked us produce the report based on a modern and striking design that has to do with engineering. I decided to talk about something of ours, something good Peruvian mega constructions in our Peru .
Especially take one project in particular trans-Andean tunnel of Olmos which has a distance of 19 kilometers. The tunnel will allow the transfer of water from the Huancabamba river to the Atlantic slope toward the Pacific coast , to irrigate 38,000 hectares in the region of Lambayeque.
I am convinced that this project will foster our economic growth is an important point for the growth of infrastructure.
II. BODY
The project has a great design as it passes across the Andes mountain range all starts with the first phase: A water diversion which aims to build cubic meters of water comes from the river huancabamaba. The tunnel has a diameter five point thirty three meters thick zero point zero five centimeters and the amount of water transferred sixty five cubic meters, has a length of about three kilometers from nineteen; It is also made of steel fibers and concrete.
The second phase for the production of energy are two hydroelectric plants in this section are two straight sections of pipeline and two falls.
In the first hydroelectric we find that the straight section is three point sixty-three kilometers with a drop of four hundred fifty-four meters; The following hydroelectric find as straight section fifty-four point twenty kilometers and a drop of four hundred sixty-two meters.
In the third stage of agricultural production are divided into three north through the central and southern destinations. North with a pipeline diameter of two meters and a length of zero point eight kilometers incorporating a four-one-one zero zero twenty hectares of crops and south pipeline four point eight meters in diameter and three point eight eight kilometers length .
