Organize and Encourage Learning Situations

The very idea of a learning situation shows no interest to those who think they are going to school to learn and that all situations are supposed to serve this purpose. Each student lives the course depending on several factors (desire, availability, of what you hear and understand, intellectual, concentration, interest, etc..).

It is our task to develop optimal teaching situations . No longer confined to the course which gives the teacher and students perform classic exercises . It take energy, time and have the skills needed to imagine and create a different kind of learning situations , situations that are spacious , open and with sense of control , referring to a process of research, identification and problem resolution. This global competition varies mobilizes more specific competencies :

Meet through a particular discipline the content of teaching and learning objectives .

Is to know what the contents teach and relate to the objectives and learning situations . Is having control of the content and distance with enough slack to build open situations and complex tasks , taking advantage of the time, based on the interests of students and exploiting events to promote active ownership and transfer of knowledge . To achieve this it is essential to have personal control of the concepts , questions, knowledge and the paradigms that structure knowledge . It is important to identify the key competencies or concept around which to organize learning and depending on which guide the work in class and set priorities .

Work from students representations .

You should take into account students' prior knowledge . Work from the conceptions of the learner, to enter into dialogue with these and make them evolve to provide unique cult knowledge.

Working from the representations of the students not to make them express themselves to despise them immediately . The important thing is to give them the right of citizenship in class , interest in them , try to understand their roots and form the consistency not appear surprised when they lost thought .

The teacher who works from students' representations is time to rediscover memory in which still did not know , to take the place of the students, to remember that , if not understood , not for lack of good will, but because what seems obvious to the expert to students seems complicated and arbitrary.

Since today is very common to see that the views of teenagers do not take into account , but you as a teacher, as an education worker should learn to use the shares of students in the issues that are occurring , and this helps a lot to know the knowledge with which the adolescent count .

We as seniors, we know and understand more than a teenager , but do not underestimate their intelligence, since in many occasions teens
