LASAGNE RECIPE
I am going to talk about a recipe: lasagne.
Ingredients:
– Lasagna noodles (12) (nu:dels)
– 2 Eggs
– 1 Onion
– 3 Small carrots
– 1⁄2 Red pepper, 1⁄2 Green pepper
– 1⁄2 Kilo ( ́kilou)ground beef
– 6/8 Mushrooms
– 1 can crushed tomatoes (tomatos)
– Slice of cheese
– Grated cheese (queso rallado)
– Oregano (oregánou)
– Mozzarella
– Salt
– Butter
– Parsley (perejil) ( ́pa:slei)
– 2 Garlic cloves
– Olive oil
– Bechamel
– White wine
Cooking Utensils:
– 1 Pot
– 1 Frying Pan (big)
– 1 Large cooking spoon
– 1 Bowl
Method
First cook lasagne noodles (nu:dels) and eggs in boiling water with salt and butter (10
minutes). While noodles (nu:dels) and eggs are cooking marinate ground beef with salt, 2 garlic
gloves crushed and parsley ( ́pa:slei).
Chopped the onion, peppers and carrots.
Slice the mushrooms.
Drain noodles (nu:dels), rinse (rins) with cold water and reserve.
Fry the onion, peppers and carrots in a pan with a little oil. After 3 minutes add ground beef
and mushrooms. Stir (sta). After one minute and add wine (1⁄2 glass). Stir (sta). After a few minutes,
add the crushed tomatoes (tomatos) and the eggs (you can chop the eggs or I always press them
with my hands). Add oregano (oregánou) and fry for about thirty minutes low heat, stirring (starrin)
occasionally.
Now we have to assemble it, grease the bowl with butter. Apply a layer ( ́leia) of noodles
(nu:dels), a layer( ́leia) of the sauce we have made and a layer ( ́leia) of slice cheese. Repite this
two more times. To finish, add a layer ( ́leia) of bechamel and some grated cheese.
Bake in preheate oven for 25 minutes and brown.
