GUIÓN DE EVALUACIÓN DEL CUARTO BIMESTRE

SUBJECT: ENGLISH 4 BIMESTER GRADE: 1° DATE: 2 TO 6 OF FEBRUARY

UNIT 7

• Understand information in a travel brochure

• Convey likes and dislikes

• Make instant decisions

• Write a brochure One Diagnostic test

Two Introduction:

Discuss the topic: ask students which types of vacations are the most popular

- Draw a table on the board with headings

- Write a beach in the column. Have students suggest ideas about beach vacations

Development:

have students open their readers to page 79

- Divide the class into reding groups. Have them discus the prediction questions: ¿how is the text intended for? ¿what kind of information does it include?

Comprehension: ask students to answer the comprehension questions on page 70

Closing:

Finally write in their notebook the new words that they learn Brochure, leisure, trip, vacation

Three Introduction:

Group read the story: read the text wilderness survival

- Ask students the topic of the text and write it on the board: wilderness survival

- Ask students what they can remember about the text

- In pairs identify words that are similar in English and Spanish and write them in their notebook

Development:

Reading: ask students to open their student´s book to page 70.

- Have students work in pairs to complete the fact file

Speaking: ask students which countries they think are better suited to wilderness exploration vacations

Closing:

Extra practice: have students complete page 28 of their workbooks

Disconnect, environment, nature, reconnect, summer, vacation, winter

Four Introduction:

Language focus: reported of speech: ask students to open their student´s book to page 71

- The teacher explain to students with some examples how to use the reported speech

Development:

- Have students use their readers book to search some examples of reported speech and write in their notebooks

- Have students complete the sentences individual in pag 71 and 72

Closing:

For homework page 29 of their workbook

Nature, recommend, reconnect, trip

Five Introduction:

Tell the teacher: invite two students to the in front in the class

- Ask one of the students to tell the other student what he or she likes to do on vacation

- Ask the first student to report what he or she said
