Toffee Milk Project

Dear members and friends, these days Ignacio makes me to comment about a project to manufacture locally caramel milk . Ignacio sells this product locally to different hotels and restaurants. It has a demand of 20,000 monthly kilograms of each type: normal (cow's milk) and camel. The latter would be sold as an exclusive Delicatessen across the Persian Gulf, duttys free, hotels and tourist sites. Also in quantities to restaurants and hotels of Europe especially in London. Description of the required installation for the production of 40,000 kilograms monthly.

The total space required including packaging would be 140 square meters.

In Production

Dulce de leche (toffee caramel) is produced from raw materials mainly 2: 1 milk State liquid and powdered milk 2. The impossibility of getting fresh milk for the production of conventional milk caramel makes that it must work with milk powder.

Milk powder for production can be sent from any point of production being the biggest exporters of Brazil and Argentina. In the case of camel milk was purchased from local producers.

Investment :

The investment required for this business is a conditioning under the sanitary standards of the country concerned. And buy machinery for processing. The cost of the machines is approximately a 55 thousand dollars FOB Argentina. The process of packaging and other is would study formats wishing to submit, in the case of the traditional sweet would be with (5, 10 and 20 kg cans) bulk container and in the case of camel would be done in small jars.

The business

This is the interesting part because there is no competition in this sector, as I mentioned before Ignacio has high demand in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Dunkin Donuts, Emirates, hotels, restaurants and various factories of local bakeries.
