PURPOSE

To provide students with basic classroom language that will enable them to communicate in English at all times, in and out the classroom.

To enable students to introduce themselves and others and to exchange details.

To enable students to obtain information about possessions and describe actions that is in progress at the moment of speaking.

To enable students to express their personal interests on the topic of hobbies, leisure and sport, and to make and respond to invitations to events and places related to the topic.

To enable students to describe actions that take place daily or periodically in students’ lives or in the life of people and animals they are interested in.

To enable students to describe the place where they or other people live, and to ask the way give directions.
