VDSPC Backup Manager
Please use desktop shortcut key to launch this backup manager.
1. Dash Board
This page will show the latest backup information, current backup location and available hard disk size of
VDSPC server.
(Note: Please select a location before backup and restore the data and images.)
1.1 Backup Information
Display backup information
• Last backup date
• Size
• Type (either manual or auto)
• Data date range
• Remark
1.2 Live Server Information
• Space available – Space available at VDSPC server
• Latest Backup Coverage – Show the range of latest backup data
1.3 Backup Destination
To Set backup path
• Default hard disk – Show the default backup location that set by user
• Select hard disk – user can select the location from the list
• Drive name
• Hard disk space available
After select the location, click Set Default button to set location as a backup location.
1.4 System Status
• Show all the action list
2. Database Backup
User able to select backup data from database automatically or manually.
2.1 Continuous Backup
Continuous backup database settings
• Enable Continuous Backup – continue backup data the remaining data which is has not been
backup
• Manage Task Scheduler – backup will running according the time frame that set in Schedule
Manager as below
• Records in each backup copy – to set the number of panel in a copy
After set the Records in each backup copy, check the Enable Continuous Backup and time frame at
the Schedule Manager, click Save button to save automated backup settings.
For example, If user set 1000 panel in each backup copy, enable continuous backup and time frame
running from 12:00am to 1:00am and save backup settings. After that, the data backup will run
automatically every day at 12:00am to 1:00am.
2.2 Full Backup
Manual backup database settings

Click Full Backup Now button to backup the existing data from database.
3. Database Clean Up
3.1 Automated Clean Up
Auto data clean up database settings
• Schedule clean up
- Never
- Every day
- Every week
- Every 2 week
- Every month
- Every 2 month
- Every 3 month
• Schedule time – to set time to start clean up database
• Remove data
- by minute ago
- by hour ago
- by day ago
- by month ago
- by year ago
After select schedule clean up, schedule time and remove data range, click Save button to save the data
clean up settings.
